The Cowboy Channel Jr. National Finals Rodeo will make its return in Texas in conjunction with the PRCA’s American Rodeo, March 2-6, 2021 Fort Worth, Texas, and AT&T Stadium, in Arlington, Texas.
The Cowboy Channel Jr. NFR will guarantee at least a $10,000 payout to each of the nine event winners. The Cowboy Channel Jr. NFR’s focus is on core rodeo events and will feature: bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, team roping (header/heeler), breakaway roping, and barrel racing.
The Cowboy Channel Jr. NFR is a tournament-style format rodeo where qualifiers will compete in the long go-round with the top 15 contestants advancing to the Cowboy Channel Jr. NFR Semi-Finals. The Cowboy Channel Jr. NFR championship round will be held at AT&T Stadium with the top 6 place winners competing for the Cowboy Channel Jr. NFR title. The winner in the timed events also advances to the American Semi-Finals for a chance to win $1 million. The Cowboy Channel Jr. NFR will feature contestants between the ages of 14-19.
The Cowboy Channel Jr. National Finals will be televised by The Cowboy Channel live on March 6. The telecast will also be steamed on The Cowboy Channel app.
