The Cody Nite Rodeo and the PRCA are excited to present a two-month riding event camp, June 20-August 1 (No Sunday Camps) for bareback and saddle bronc riders. The Cody Nite Rodeo has produced over 250 NFR qualifiers, as well as 50 World Champions in its 80 years. The rodeo has always been a great place for young contestants to gain experience they need as they embark upon a successful career in rodeo.
The camp is led by NFR instructors to help contestants each and every day in Cody, Wyoming. This year, there will be a bucking machine that allows the instructors to work more directly with the kids during the day, and provide video analysis critiques. The goal is to increase participation in the riding events through proper skill and technique development, and help advance to the next level of competition.
Instructors: Brett Franks, Cody Custer, Rick Smith, Rod Hay, Heath Ford, & Jess Martin
By providing multiple days of rodeo school to prospering contestants, great bucking stock and great instructors for an extended period of time, we will accomplish our goal of advancing kids onto the next level.
There is no cost for the kids, and this includes rodeo school and lodging.
